Linux is a free and open-source operating system kernel, which is the core component of an operating system. It is used in lots of devices like computers, smartphones, smart TVs, light bulbs, and more. Also, it is the base of other Operating systems like Android.

Linux is known for being a stable and reliable operating system.

One of the key features of Linux is its flexibility and it can be customized to meet the specific needs of different users and applications. There are many different versions of Linux available called “distributions” with a range of features and tools tailored for different purposes.
